What is SearchLite?

SearchLite is our "light" search service that focuses on targeting people who are not actively searching for a new role - what we call "passive candidates"! The service sits alongside your recruitment activity that would usually include advertising a specific role you are wanting to fill. It is rare for organisations to employ recruitment staff who proactively search. This is where we come in.

One of the key problems that organisations have is that their only way of attracting talent is to run an advertisement on job or industry sites, and then waiting for responses. The key problem here is the moment you do that, you lose control of what comes to you. In today's environment, that can range from very few responses to thousands, depending on the category you are looking for.

Advertising is also activity that is "reactive" to your requirement, which means once placed, you're in the "hands of the Gods" as to what response you get. And response here is the key word. You wait for response - and sometimes wait and wait!

Our SearchLite service works alongside your activities, and targets those people closely matched and sometimes accurately matched to your requirement. If you're only advertising, you are only receiving response from those who are actively looking, whereas SearchLite completes the circle and "trawls" the complete market. Anecdotally, we estimate at least 40-50% of potential candidates are missed if you don't take this dual approach.

In summary, we use our significant experience, relevant media, and our extensive network to identify and approach only suitably qualified people and talk about the opportunity, initially "incognito". Once we have ascertained interest, we then notify you of their interest and will send direct their CV-Resume. You can then include them in your applicants - or simply put them straight through to your "shortlist" if you think they have the credentials to qualify. If we double up, it doesn't matter, it just ensures you're reaching everyone who may be potential for your role.

There is no placement fee, just a low cost fee based on the hours we spend identifying suitable candidates. Our fee is based on up to around 20 hours of work, and is a one-off fee.
